This website is an example of an inventory management for clients who may need to monitor their inventory. Clients can use it to monitor expensive or hard-to-replace equipment to reduce theft or misplacing the items.
A past client of ours had hundreds of tools that were shared among employees that go to their customer’s locations to work. They suffered some disorganization from employees misplacing, mis-assigning, sharing, or stealing tools. This website is an example of the type of inventory management system they needed in which employees can request available tools, specify which job it is for, and the tools can only be marked as returned by the administrators. This ensures employees can freely request items while their managers are aware of where the tools should be and who is responsible for it in the case they go missing.
Instructions:
1. Log in through the Account page. Permitted users will be provided a login.
2. Search for the items you need on the Inventory page. You can search by number or use the filter to look for certain categories.
3. Order the items you need by clicking on it and clicking Add To Cart from the details page.
4. Once you have all you need, go to your Cart to checkout.
5. When checking out, put your first and last name as well as the job number in the form. You can also include any additional info in the optional notes section.
6. Done!
